A new UK government has been voted into power. In their election campaign they promised to clean up the streets and make Britain safe again for law abiding citizens.
Too many previous governments had promised to make a difference but had fallen short and failed to deliver the goods. Drastic action was needed to rectify the deficiency in the fight against serious crime. The time had come to make a difference: A difference that would make criminals think twice before they acted.
