He escapes one situation after another; sometimes with only minutes to spare. He embarks on a treasure hunt into the jungles of Colombia looking for an abandoned Emerald mine; avoiding Guerrillas at every turn. He is smuggled out of another country in Central America hidden in a packing crate. The adventures are never ending and include numerous comical missteps as he began his Law Enforcement career. He now states; "Live your life like you're dying and appreciate each moment because there may be no others." He writes his stories while listening to the Howler Monkeys and watching the Toucans land in the trees in front of his home in Central America.
