Why do her enemies call her "President Lesbo"? Because she is single and never has been married. She is straight, but refuses to answer questions from the media, not wanting to set a precedent for a candidate's sexual orientation to become an issue.

Madam President centers around Kalinda Resbo, the youngest and first black president in history. She is a mixture of Eleanor Roosevelt, Amelia Earhart, Mae Jemison, Michelle Obama, Elizabeth Warren and a leader that pays homage to all great women. She finds herself in a fight for her political life and legacy when she seeks tough reelection in 2012.

She stands up to Congress, Wall Street and Special Interests. . .

Tough, determined Kalinda Resbo didn't get to where she is by backing down from the right wing, racist chauvinists and she isn't about to start now. There'd been plenty of coffee spit out at Fox News when she'd been crowned not only the youngest, but the first, female president of the United States just four years prior, and she intends to make them choke on their dark roast a second time. Watching her direct the DOJ to go after Wall Street Criminals and dirty politicians has sent the right wing over the deep end, spending billions both to discredit her and to back her political opponents. She'd tried to play nice during her first term but there were only so many times she could take a knife in the back before a line in the sand had to be drawn. This time, things are going to be different.

She turns the two-party system on its head. . .

Disillusioned with the Democrat's constant watering down of her every proposal and convinced half of them are GOP in disguise, she seeks a second term as an independent, making her fair game for left and right party members. Against belligerent opposition, she runs against an incompetent and corrupt Congress, Wall Street corruption, corporate welfare, and those who refuse to invest in the infrastructure and combating Climatic Change. Despite the hate and hostility from those who wish to destroy her presidency, drive her out of office and--in some cases--see her assassinated, Kalinda displays a spine made of steel and stands strong in her convictions, and for the liberals, progressives, feminists, environmentalists and free thinkers who voted for her.
