Food Therapy - Kindle Fiction

Food Therapy
by Nocomus Columbus

Food therapy won't solve your problems, but it might make you forget about them, at least for a little while.

Corey uses food therapy to deal with his pain, which ultimately becomes the main source of his suffering. Each bite is like heroin. Immobilized, living in a state of extreme obesity, Corey fills idle time by eating everything he can get his ever-increasing size hands on. Food and online social networking comfort him, creating a false reality, a distraction from the screwed up world he lives in, a distraction from the people that are a part of his life; an overprotective mother juggling with questions of morality, a father with undiagnosed mental illness, a friendly stranger with a dark past, a nefarious traveling preacher, and lastly, a talking urn. To make matters worse Corey experiences a terrifying recurring nightmare, a nightmare that contains a message he can’t seem to figure out.

Corey feels like Pac-Man, and like Pac-Man, he too runs from ghosts.

Food Therapy is his story.
