A young woman receives in the mail a photograph of herself and twelve friends, taken at her thirteenth birthday party. A few weeks later she receives a second copy of that photograph, only one of her friends is circled and has a red X over her body. When she calls that friend, she finds out her friend has been murdered. Over time, the woman receives other copies of that photograph and more friends are missing or have been found murdered, and she has a couple of close calls herself. Could the murderer be one of those thirteen people, or has someone else obtained a copy of one of those thirteen original photographs?
