Blinders - Kindle Fiction

Blinders
by Burton Becker

Space aliens from the planet Quars covet Earth because their bland planet lacks all Earth’s natural beauty. The Quarsarian Elders would prefer waiting until Earthlings pollute their planet, making it unfit for human life, but they fear that humans will set the earth aglow in a nuclear world war.

To speed up the pollution process, the Quarsarians brought hundreds of human clones to Earth. The clones were trained to believe that Earthlings are lustful, destructive, and unethical. They use sex as a tool to advance their cause, because their training conditioned them to enjoy the sex act only when they gain an advantage.

Two graduate students, Len Scanlon and Julie Tilford, uncover the plot, investigate, and then become intimately involved with the loving, clone couple of John and Barb Desmond. Using some of the techniques of sensate focus, they teach the Desmonds how to use sex and tenderness to give physical expression to the love they felt in their heads. This union of the physical and mental aspects of love leaves the Desmonds seeing their existence in a new light. From then on, like young lovers, they engage in sexual games and teasing at every opportunity.

With the awakening of this important human quality, the Desmonds begin to question their mission. Under threat from the Quarsarian Elders, will they defy their creators and put their son in danger? Will world governments believe that space aliens threaten Earth? How will the Quarsarians respond?
