Jack Wardsley’s life ended the moment his partner died, stabbed to death by a remorseless criminal. Now, years later, Jack is a changed man, with a head full of secrets driving him insane. His recent record of police brutality and a reputation for not following the rules has prompted his seniors to give him an ultimatum: take a few weeks off to relax and find some way to let go of all the anger – or else find another job.

That is why Jack is about to board The Spirit of Kirkpatrick, a cruise liner built for five-star luxury. It isn't long, however, before Jack realizes that rest and relaxation is the last thing he’s ever going to get. A virus has found its way on-board and is making people insane. It isn't long before the whole ship is overrun with blood and death. There is nowhere to escape.

But then Jack wakes up.

The day is exactly the same as the one before. In fact everything is the same. Jack soon realizes that he is stuck in a loop, forced to witness the virus ravage the ship and its passengers over and over again, day after day.

As Jack tries to escape his doomed fate, he starts to realize that there are others on-board who are trapped just like him – and that some of them know more than they’re letting on.
