A religious zealot who is also a renowned microbiologist had perfected a clone of the zombie virus using samples from the Doyline outbreak. The voices in his head tell him to take the zombie virus spray to New Orleans during Mardi Gras and use it to remove the sinners from the earth.
He proceeds to the Mardi Gras and places aerosol dispensers in several places in the French Quarter.
