Misunderstood and misquoted on countless occasions, it fell upon us to document his life and person, for over two years the monks of our Zanlian temple have worked for long hours with their heads buried in books to discover the truth of Lord Talon.

Finally we have his own words and the words of his close friends as he grew from child to saviour of a nation, now we have a true account of his philosophy and his wish to share his knowledge.

Over the passage of time scholars have discovered hundreds of books that chartered his extraordinary life, and many books have claimed to contain his true words.

Within these pages lay the facts about the man, the way he looked at the world and the way he thought of himself and his companions.

During the Great War with the Empire, Talon ardently scribed his journal; whenever there was a lull from the fighting he tried to find time to chart his thoughts and the happenings of the day. These jotted notes later became the Journals of Talon, a fascinating history of the mind of the warrior.

He writes with an amazing passion and clarity of thought, where some have claimed that his writings were the works of others. Some claim that Lord Talon was illiterate while some claim he was too strong to write such feeling.

These claims were finally put to rest when his oldest and fondest friend Ganasis revealed that the words from the Journals and diaries belonged to the man himself.

Now thankfully we have a work of literature that reveals the kind of a man Lord Talon truly was.
