A fantastic little book about the wonderful healing properties and uses of herbs. Excerpts - Damiana – soothes and calms nerves
Dandelion – aids liver function
Echinacea – boost immune system, anti bacterial/viral
Elder – reduces fevers
Eyebright – soothes eyes

Marigold – Usually reaching half a meter in height, marigold can be used as an alternative to saffron. Also used in rice, and salads, it is delicious. The herb is a member of the calendulae tribe. In ointments marigold is often used to treat scars and skin conditions. When used in cooking the flavor is subtle yet strong.
Rosemary – A highly aromatic evergreen shrub. Rosemarinus, the Latin name, means Dew of the Sea, and this is because it grew all around the coast of the Mediterranean.
When used in the bath, it aids skin conditions giving the skin a healthy glowing appearance, and it also stimulates hair growth when used in shampoos, or hair rinses. A member of the Labiatae family, rosemary can grow over 2 meters high in warmer climates.
