The year is 1953. John Shannon has returned to his home town pf Jubal, Arkansas after the Korean War, as he searches for answers to his future.
John is stunned when he finds himself appointed Sheriff by the Mayor. It becomes worse when he discovers the Mayor does not want a three year old murder investigated.
