The Dusty saga continues. Dusty Webb has been trapped in the Plane by powerful ghost Lucy Giles with her body in a coma in Palmerston North hospital. Professor Toby Morrison, of the wellington Institute of Scientific Education, is investigating paranormal events, trying to unravel the mysteries of ghosts. One ghost, Cynthia Munroe, seeks his help to resolve a murder in her family. She finds she is capable of helping the Professor's spirit leave his body, and can take him to the dimension called the Plane.

There he meets Dusty Webb, still trapped in that crazy dimension, from which Lucy Giles refuses her to leave. Morrison vows to help Dusty, but with such a stubborn ghost, it doesn't seem possible. Only one thing can change Lucy's mind. Love.
