The essays in that collection served as an introduction to the ideas that inspired her to write science fiction for young adults.

M/Essays II was compiled and revised from essays posted on a writing blog from late November to late December, while S.I. completed the rough draft of her second full length novel and the prequel to THE UNREACAHBLE, IN THE DEEP. This collection focuses on sex, love, personal relationships, and other things she’s failing at.
