Divorce, Me and A Cup of Tea

This book commences on my 12th Wedding Anniversary, with my husband telling me he was leaving, his parting gift of a Teasmade and my story of guiding my children through divorce, remarriage and moving abroad.

At 34 years old, feeling that MY LIFE was over, I made an early conscious decision that my children would become my focus. My guiding light to get me through this disaster and that I in return would ensure that they would also come through it unscathed.

From Income Support and living in a council house to now, through my own endeavours owing a villa with a private pool in Cyprus, this is my journey chronicled by events that led my path. From Royal Events, Government Policies and World Tragedies, aided by my constant tea drinking, I have endeavoured to remain dignified in my behaviour, my treatment of my ex husband and my single parenting of my son and daughter.

This is not a story of professional help for guiding children through divorce; it is my gut reaction to choices, rightly or wrongly, that I made to help my children through the process, and to prove to them and myself, that there is life after divorce.

Hopefully my story can inspire others, in the same position that hard work, patience and dedication can move your life forward to a new brighter future.
