Vegetable soup recipes. Healthy nutritious and full of goodness
by Ana Bridge
What a wonderful meal soup can be. Very filling (great for dieters) full of nutrition, fiber and protein (of the best kind). Vitamins and minerals can be adjusted to meet your needs, as a single meal or as a starter to compliment a main-course.
We mostly think of a bowl of steaming hot soup on a cold winter’s night but it can be just as rewarding nicely chilled from the fridge, to start off a salad lunch.
There is a fine line between a thick soup and a stew. I often like a thick soup with chunks of potato and butternut, plus a nice dash of bacon or spicy sausage.
Soap is so versatile and quick to put together, just look in the fridge and see what left-over's there are, and I'm sure you can come up a with culinary delight.
