This is the first book I have read from Rose Carter, but it won't be my last. While the book starts off in a manner that seems predictable, the tune quickly changes as the story progresses, things are not as they appeared to be. With twists and turns scattered throughout this book is full of mystery and suspense, all the while making you question what you know. Detective Ryan Cook adds a unique element to the story line as he attempts to uncover the truth, which is much more challenging then expected, I won't ruin any of the good parts, it is a mystery, but this was a very good read. -Customer Review
