Janice Howard is a Letting Agent who is working late. After finalising a tenancy, she sets off for home but realises that she needs petrol. The small town petrol station is closed so she sets off through the dark and lonely countryside in an attempt to make it to another petrol station. But after the car stops through lack of fuel, she finds herself menaced by a young man. And what is worse, is that her mobile phone battery is dead.
